Systems Engineer Notes
PRINTED AT AN ANGLE. FOUND THAT THERE WAS A MYLAR THAT WAS BENT AND WAS WEDGED UNDER ANOTHER PART. I WAS ABLE TO REACH IT AND BEND IT BACK WITH MY SPRING HOOK. I RAN ABOUT 25 COPIES WITH NO ISSUE. ALSO THEY SAID THAT THE ADF WAS TEARING ORIGINALS. THE ISSUES SEEMED TO BE LIMITED TO PAGES THAT WERE REMOVED FROM AN ACTIVITY BOOK AND HAD A ROUGH EDGE. I EXPLAINED TO CLAUDIA THAT THEY NEED TO USE THE CLEAN EDGE AS THE LEADING EDGE AND TO MAKE SURE THE PAPER GUIDES ARE TIGHT. THEY WERE GETTING LINES ON THEIR COPIES. CLEANED THE SLIT GLASS AND THE PLATEN AND THE MYLARS ABOVE THE SLIT GLASS. THERE WAS WHITEOUT ON EVERYTHING. THEY WERE ALSO HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THE HANDLE ON THE PAPER CONVEYING UNIT BUT CLAUDIA AND I DISCUSSED IT AND THEY DECIDED THAT IT WAS NOT WORTH PUTTING ADDITIONAL TIME IN TO THIS ISSUE SINCE THEY RARELY GET JAMS THERE AND THEY CAN CLOSE IT BY HOLDING THE HANDLE UP WHEN CLOSING.
